Terms and Conditions.

The terms that apply when you book Fast Screen, in plain English.

Last updated 8 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you book a car glass repair or replacement with Fast Screen, and when you use this website. They are written for customers who use our services as individuals. Business customers can agree different terms with us in writing. If anything is unclear, please ask us before you book. You can reach us at info@fastscreen.co.uk or on 07379 500175.

Our service

We repair and replace car glass at your home, office or another place you choose in London. We will tell you if we cannot fit the glass for your vehicle.

Quotes and booking

When you call or message us, we ask for your registration, which glass is damaged and where the car is. We then give you a price and a time. Your booking is made when you accept them.

Our price is based on what you tell us. If the glass turns out to be different, or we find something we could not know about, we will tell you and agree any change with you before we carry on.

Arrival times

We aim to reach you quickly, and are often with you within an hour, but arrival times are estimates. Traffic, weather and glass availability can affect them. If we are running late we will let you know. If we cannot attend, we will tell you, and you may cancel at no cost.

Your part

  • Give us safe access to the car in a place where it is safe and legal to work.
  • Make sure we can get keys or access to the vehicle if we need them.
  • Please remove valuables and personal items from the car before we arrive.
  • Some adhesives need dry conditions. In bad weather we may ask to move the car under cover or arrange a new time with you.

The work

We carry out the work with reasonable care and skill. When we finish, we tell you how long to wait before you drive, and we ask you to follow that advice.

Removing glass can reveal damage that was already there, such as rust around the frame. If we find any, we will stop, explain it and agree next steps with you.

Payment and invoices

You pay when the job is done, by card or cash. We hand you a full, itemised invoice.

If you are claiming on insurance, our invoice is for you to claim back from your insurer. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, you remain responsible for paying us, and any excess or claim decision is between you and your insurer.

Cancelling

You can cancel before we set off at no cost. Please tell us as soon as you can by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Because we agree jobs by phone or message, you also have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking. If you ask us to attend within those 14 days, which is what you do when you book an urgent visit, you must pay for the work done up to the moment you cancel. Once we have fully completed the work, you can no longer cancel. If you cancel after we have ordered glass specially for your car, we may charge the reasonable costs we cannot avoid.

If something is not right

Please tell us straight away and we will do our best to put it right. By law, our work must be done with reasonable care and skill. If it is not, you may be entitled to have it repeated or to a price reduction. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

Our responsibility

We do not exclude or limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

Otherwise, if we break these terms or are negligent, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. We provide our services for private use. If you use them for a business, we are not responsible for lost profit, lost business or business interruption.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures or supplier problems. If this happens we will tell you as soon as we can, and you may cancel.

Using this website

The information on this website is general. We try to keep it accurate, but it may change. Articles in the Journal, including anything about the law or the MOT, are general information and not professional or legal advice. We are not responsible for other websites that we link to. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, contact us at info@fastscreen.co.uk or on 07379 500175. We will look into it and reply as quickly as we can.

Your personal information

See our Privacy Policy for how we use your information.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The terms in force on the day you book apply to that booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
